International Air Freight Services: Planning, Booking and Delivery Coordination
Air freight is an important option for commercial shipments with time-sensitive delivery needs. Labartis reviews commodity type, package weights and dimensions, origin and destination airports, and requested timelines to assess suitable shipping plans. Flight space and schedules remain subject to booking confirmation.
General Cargo
Commercial goods, spare parts and equipment, with packaging, dimensions and airline acceptance reviewed.
Time-Sensitive Shipments
Available flights, connections and cut-off times are assessed where delays may affect commercial operations.
Special-Handling Cargo
Temperature-sensitive or restricted cargo is reviewed against regulations, documentation and airline acceptance requirements.
Lithium batteries, dangerous goods and some chemical products can be restricted or prohibited for air transport. Cargo classification and supporting documentation must be checked before booking.

Air Freight Costs and Chargeable Weight
For many air cargo tariffs, chargeable weight is based on the greater of actual gross weight and volumetric weight. A commonly used volumetric formula is length × width × height in centimeters divided by 6,000; the applicable divisor and rating rules must be confirmed in the quote.
Example: a 120 × 80 × 60 cm package weighing 60 kg has a volumetric weight of 96 kg using a divisor of 6,000. Its chargeable weight in this example is 96 kg.
