What information is needed for a freight quote?
A complete request makes route selection and quotation comparison easier.

Describe the cargo
Give cargo name and use, packaging, package count, gross weight and each package’s dimensions. Declare temperature sensitivity, fragility, batteries or possible dangerous-goods status. Air transport may require dangerous-goods assessment; do not assume the cargo is ordinary freight.
Route and timing
Provide exact origin and destination, ready date, desired delivery window and purchase delivery rule. If the transport mode is undecided, explain the priority between time, cost and cargo constraints.
Compare scope, not only totals
Check validity, currency, origin and destination charges, customs services, insurance, delay charges and exclusions. An estimated schedule is not necessarily a delivery guarantee. Use Labartis’s quote form for an initial request; final terms follow cargo and transport-feasibility review.
Ask for comparable scope
Confirm currency, validity, service limits, estimated transit, inclusions/exclusions and payment terms. Name the exact destination. Compare the same equipment, route and handover scope.
Before you proceed
- Confirm scope and references.
- Use final cargo data.
- Keep the approved version.
