Uzbekistan’s government reported on 17 February 2026 that Uzbekistan, Iran and Türkiye discussed the Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan–Iran–Türkiye corridor and integration with the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway under construction. They agreed to establish an expert working group.
